Greetings from Sicily!

Finally some rain has arrived after five months of drought. Giuseppe arrived at the end of August, and with him a virus infection of the throat. Not quite what he wanted to deal with, as it seems this virus has affected many all over. But no matter, the mission of Act Now Ministries goes forward, taking courage from the Word in Joshua 1:7-9, pressing forward, not alone.

During September, we made trips to help a new church in Syracuse on the South East side with bibles. The storefront does not look like anything inviting, as you can see, but His Word is preached and lived in the neighborhood.

We were blessed again on two occasions to hold baptisms in the Mediterranean Sea on two different beaches. Some of the people swimming came to inquire what was happening and we shared with them about the ones declaring their faith in Christ.

Please hold us in prayer for the upcoming baptisms from some of the people that we have been ministering in the Italian church. Some have expressed their desire to publicly declare their faith. We thank the Lord for these special occasions where others witness what God has been doing as we continue to serve.

Giuseppe’s family is doing good despite colds and cough. Grateful for the Internet, Giuseppe was able to spend precious time with some of the grandkids. Wow, they talk a storm, and ask questions too!

Also we want to thank all of you who prayed for and acknowledged our anniversary. We are blessed beyond our desire from a Father that shows us His love and grace everyday .

Another request is for a house bible study starting this Friday…more details coming soon. Two more requests: please pray for a college student arriving October 9; the following week, a Nestle engineer arrives to help here in the ministry. Will share more as the days go by.

God bless you. Share His Word.
As always: Let’s go fishing (really) for souls.

Your servants,

Giuseppe and Pennie Collesano

Ciao.
