Greetings from Northern Michigan! Here, it seems summer is over.

One thing is for sure: it is quiet, unless the waves crushing on the rocks distract you. For Giuseppe and his family, this time was needed for rest and reflection and looking forward to what the Lord has in store for the days to come.

Not all the time has been a vacation, between working on the summer cottage replacing wood that has rotted away and maintaining the place. Giuseppe also preached at the Coast Guard Chapel on Bois Blanc Island to report on Act Now Ministries and share God’s Word with old and new friends.

It is at this Chapel that Giuseppe’s and Pennie’s daughter Cristina will get married in October. It is not common to preach surrounded by a forest of birch, cedar, and pine trees.

Also, we do not forget the ministry that’s going on in Sicily and Sardinia, the biggest islands in the Mediterranean Sea. This year, fewer migrants and refugees have come ashore because of the closing of borders and a climate of austerity on the Italian government. We are called to reach One more for the Lord with His Word, so the work continues even being a few thousand miles away.

Here, Carlos is sharing the Word with Sicilian people. When visiting the refugee camps, we also aim to preach to the locals that are administering the camps. Aside from the political reasoning, we have this unique opportunity to reach people from all walks of life, thanks to your involvement with us.

In Acts 4:@16 , we notice that the miracle was done through them (NKJV), God’s desire to use you and me for His purpose in reaching One more.

We at ANM are very thankful for your involvement in our lives and ministry. We wish you all His abundant blessings; serving together, Giuseppe and Pennie Collesano.

Ciao for now.
Do not forget: Let’s go fishing (really) for One more.
