Greetings from sunny Sicily! It’s a bit cold here and we are still getting snow in higher elevations.

Even in a short month like February, we would like to take a moment to thank you all for your faithfulness in giving to the ministry of Act Now Ministries. God is using each one of you to allow us to serve in Sicily and Sardinia. Lives are changed because of your involvement in praying and giving of yourselves.

After some time in the States, Giuseppe returned to Sicily. It was a blessed time to reconnect and restore. Between some work to be done at home and time spent with the grandchildren, it was a refreshing time. Giuseppe was greeted by a doming volcano spewing ashes all over the Catania area. This has caused disruption in the use of the airport in Catania, and a lot of cleaning had to be done to balconies and cars.

We find ourselves with a variety of opportunities to serve, like the Awana clubs at the Naval Station Sigonella. Teach the children His Word, so that they will not depart from it in later life.

In December, there was an earthquake in the area, and some destruction is still visible today. Some houses are no longer habitable. Where we could provide some relief, we did, thanks to the donations that we received from our service members at the base. This past Wednesday, we prepared packets and kits with toiletries to be given out. In visiting a refugee camp in the mountains, we took some of these kits where Giuseppe preached.

We are thankful to God that we are well received and allowed to share His Word. It is also very rewarding because we can encourage our brothers to persevere in prayers when their faith is tested. Our faith is always tested, daily: it is how we respond to the testing that demonstrates our faith. Then we can keep growing and are continually transformed by our Lord. Keep on praying.

We are thankful for you in our lives.
We are thankful that He uses us wherever we are.
We are thankful that He changes lives.

We ask you to pray for us that we continue faithfully to serve Him.
We ask you to pray for us and our family.
We ask you to pray for the four new directors that have joined Act Now Ministries. As we grow, more hands on deck are needed so that we can work diligently and responsibly.
We ask to pray for open doors that we can share the Light to the world around us.

As always, you are welcome to visit Sicily, as more laborers are needed.
