Greetings to all of you! Another birthday and another month have passed. We thank you for your continued prayers and support of the ministry overseas. The focus for the last month has been on the conflict in Ukraine and what can be done to stop it. We can continue to pray for Ukraine and especially for the believers there to be light and salt.
We are receiving some refugees in our area of ministry, and we are actively responding to the need. Thank you for praying. We want to share with you as a matter of prayer that after more than 30 years, Giuseppe Collesano and his wife Pennie reconnected with friends from a long time ago: Oronzo and Esther Basta. They met while Pennie was a missionary in Rome and Giuseppe a student in bible college. Please pray for Esther battling cancer. Please also pray for their daughter who is confined to a wheelchair.
Some of you might remember that a long time ago, I took I very young man, Ezra, on a mission trip. His desire was to give a gift to a refugee child. What a blessing to see this young man coming along with Giuseppe and serving God in doing so.
Just last month, Mama Daniel passed away and went home to the Lord. Daniel, the little boy, has grown a bit now. His father was killed by Isis in Libya trying to help refugees there. Prayers are needed for Daniel. He is in good hands in Sicily.
The group bible study goes forward here, which Giuseppe participates in. This group has been well used by God in supplying bibles and funds for the ministry and we are blessed by that. Please also pray for the leader of the study, Vallen Prest. He was asked to lead a nearby church. Vallen has been working alongside Act Now Ministries before Covid for four years in a row in Sicily and Sardinia. We are praying to restart once all the restrictions are lifted so he can come and teach again.
Lastly, do pray for a couple in France, Ivan and Laurens. They are under quarantine with a hard case of Covid. Through another believer in Germany, Giuseppe was asked if can find and send a French bible; done already! Hopefully, there will be a bible study long distance with these dear people who are searching for the Truth.
Also, pray for Immanuel in Germany with Covid; he was greatly used by God in the ministry while in Sicily. The family is doing great and growing in celebrating first birthdays and more. God is good.
Again we thank you and pray His blessings upon you. Great to have you as a part of the Team.
As always: Let’s go fishing (really) for One more for The One.
God bless you.
Giuseppe and Pennie Collesano, president of Act Now Ministries.
Ciao for now.
