April 2025 Newsletter
Greetings from Giuseppe and from Castelbuono. Where to start? First, I thank the Lord for you, our partners in the ministry here in Sicily/Italy and beyond.
THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Your prayers have sustained us during this very difficult time here. We asked you to pray for my brother Gandolfo and your prayers have sustained us during this time till his passing. His heart stopped beating last Sunday, April 6. His funeral took place on April 8. He was exposed to the Gospel many times, firstly directly by me long ago and subsequently when we planted a church in the north of Italy. He and his family also visited the local church in town. Only the Lord knows about his heart and the hearts of his family here. The Lord granted me to visit him before passing. I was able to share again the gospel at his bedside with his oldest son listening too.
Also, pray for Luisa, the doctor that was taking care of him while I was there. She heard the gospel very well; the harvest belongs to the Lord. I was also able to share again His Gospel of peace at the church near our paternal home. A friend of mine during the service asked a believer: I hope that Giuseppe will share the Gospel. God is good and His Word was spoken of.
Good remarks from that. Again, thank you for your prayers during this difficult time. Gandolfo was my only brother. Mom and Dad are already with the Lord. My hope is that He might have made a decision for Christ.
We are sending help with clothes to Ukraine at this time, and more donations are coming. The news from Kenya is good too; the church is growing. Please pray with me if I need to take a trip there and explore the possibility of helping out. We already have sent literature for evangelism. As I return to Belpasso, I need a little rest before I get going full blast. Sometimes I listen, sometimes I get going. I need a few days to recover. Thanks for praying for that.
Our family is doing well at the moment and we are thankful for a great time of fellowship with all of our children and grandchildren. We are blessed. We hope that all of you are blessed as we enter and remember this season of Easter. Let us all make sure that everyone knows about His Love of dying on the cross so that we might Have His Peace and they too receive it.
Thank you. God bless you.
As always: Let’s go fishing (really) for one more for the One.
