December 2025 Newsletter
Happy New Year to you all. We hope you had an enjoyable celebration in welcoming this new year. We have many reasons to thank the Lord that allows us to serve all over Italy. This is the second letter for you to thank the Lord for what He has done and what He will do in the next year. ANM continues to aim to reach one more for the One.
During the trip north, even on the highway, we found encouragement by a truck. Yes, a trucker had painted on the back door John 14:6. A reminder for each one of His servants that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There are still so many villages and municipalities without a Christian witness along the way. But there are plenty of bell towers, high enough to be seen for miles, and even a monument to a saint on a crossroad. You would think that you were in a Christian country; far from it, sadly.
There is still much need for laborers, especially in the north. As we wrote last time, now we have a couple that is coming along with ANM in the province of Bologna, about 1,000 miles from Sicily. Daniele and Annamaria are serving in the surrounding places around Bologna, a city of about 400,000 people.
The surrounding area is basically untouched by the gospel. Daniele is actively sharing the gospel there. Last May, Giuseppe had the opportunity to provide him with more literature and went along sharing the gospel with Daniele. God willing, this will be repeated again this spring. God is good in allowing us open doors to minister not only in Sicily but in many parts of the country with your help.
Everybody likes an espresso coffee or a cappuccino. It was in one of these occasions that the Lord prompted Giuseppe to share His Word with Chiara, a waitress. It was a pleasant surprise to see how His Word can penetrate a hungry heart. Praise the Lord. Chiara not only listened with attention but with expectation too — that expectation that comes through faith. She received a Bible and literature to begin her walk with the Lord. We are praying for her conversion to the true redeemer and Savior Jesus Christ. Pray along with us that the seed planted in many during this trip will take root and bring glory to our God.
This year marks our 21st year in Sicily/Italy serving together for the sharing of His Word; we are thankful beyond our expectations. We also continue to pray for you and your families’ blessings in this new year. We are grateful to have such a partnership with the desire to reach even lands far away. Thank you.
