Happy New Year to all of you!

Another year has ended; lots of people are glad that it is over, hoping for a better one in 2021.
Psalm 118:24 says “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Well, the circumstances during 2020 for sure looked very bleak and discouraging for many around the world. The pandemic gripped the entire globe with no respect to anybody. How you can rejoice in these circumstances?

According to His Word, we should rejoice because He makes our days and He is Love. We know that His disciples, by sharing His message, incurred persecution and beatings, stonings and more; but rejoiced to be counted worthy in partaking in the suffering of Christ. Our faith comes under scrutiny and testing so that we grow stronger in Him.

Some of us have lost someone this past year. We take this opportunity to thank all of you for praying for Giuseppe’s mom during a difficult time a few months back. This past Christmas Eve morning, she went to be with Our Lord; no more suffering. We gained a sister in heaven. Sure it is painful in many ways, but we rejoice that she is in a better place.

God is always at work about redeeming and rescuing the lost. We just received an encouraging note that said: “Make sure to thank all the donors and supporters of Act Now Ministries about their love and commitment to the Lord. Every time we are sharing His word with the people here they are rejoicing and thankful that we are recharged to do His will. Let us praise the Lord together. We are thankful for Act Now Ministries in serving together.”

So far, both the Navy base and the NATO base have received many calendars, bibles, children’s coloring book bibles and more because of your generosity. An entire Italian squadron of airmen is pleased to have received a copy of the Bible. Our Navy base received calendars in English and the English children’s bible. Inmates in the Catania prison also received the same materials this year, donated by you through ANM.

Also, all of our neighbors in Belpasso continue to be reached by His Word. Let us pray for a great harvest. Our other coworkers in North Italy are continuing their ministry opportunities because you gave. God is at work. It seems repetitive. His Word once shared will not come back void. Because you pray and intercede, we expect another year where we can rejoice in the day that He has made for you and us to serve Him faithfully.

Again, thank you for being a blessing to many around the world.

Serving together, Giuseppe and Pennie Collesano.
P.S. As always: Let’s go fishing (really) for one more for the One.
God bless you.
