Greetings to all of you who pray and support Act Now Ministries.

Summer is in full swing all over and we pray that you are enjoying the weather where you are. How is your race going? Keeping the pace or getting tired? Are you distracted or keeping the focus on the finish line? Jesus! Hebrew 12:1-2. Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking into Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We do hope that during these difficult circumstances, you’ve grown in Christ. It has been a trying time during the many restrictions imposed by all the governments, with a variety of severity all over the world. It seems that all of a sudden the virus has disappeared with the opening of countries that have been devastated by the economy.

Italy has opened to tourism, which is vital to the country. We hope that by the end of September, Giuseppe can return to Sicily to the ministry there. Finally, the bibles arrived from England; it only took six months to get them there! Giuseppe and Isidoro are doing great work so far in the midst of the ever-changing decrees coming out of Palermo. Sicily does have a Governor in Palermo, the capital city of Sicily which in turn gets regulations from Rome. Currently, Giuseppe and Isidoro are trying to get the free clothing, shoes, toiletries and blankets to the people affected by the pandemic and people in need. Through all of this, they are sharing the gospel with the literature that we have stored and that has arrived at our storage facility.

When you read the passages from Hebrews, try to find keywords to help you understand at which stage you are in in the race. One of the best words that pops out is Endurance: it includes stamina, patience, suffering, distractions, but best of all Focus. Keeping our eyes on the finish line, Jesus.

At this moment, we are enjoying some special time with our grandson Evan and his mom and dad in Virginia…priceless. Next month, another grandchild will arrive — another blessing from God.

We ask that you pray for us that our focus be directed always to Jesus; He is the Light for our next step forward. Pray for Patience also, as we cannot control what is out of our hands. Pray for Endurance, that nothing will deter us from serving our Lord and Savior.

We take this opportunity to thank you and pray for you, as we are reminded to pray for one another. Keep on growing in Him so that you can imitate Him.
God bless you.
Serving together, Giuseppe and Pennie Collesano

As always: Let’s go fishing (really) for One more for The One.
Ciao for now.
