Hello and greetings from hot and erupting Etna volcano in Sicily! Yes, very interesting if you were here with Giuseppe — never a dull moment! God is good.

This will be a two-part report. Why? Because we are not on vacation even in a place where you could be perpetually on vacation. We are here serving our Lord and savior, and on our behalf, we would like to thank you for allowing us to do so, not only in Sicily but in many parts of Italy and beyond. This is the fulfillment of Matthew 28:18-20, literally.

It is amazing what God can do when we say yes and obey on His calling for our lives. We are blessed with amazing partners and brothers that believe on the calling in Matthew 28:18-20. God is at work through you and this little mission of Act Now Ministries by touching lives and changing hearts at the same time.

We are thankful for your trusting the Lord and praying for the ministry that we together are making it possible to reach in so many places. Let’s start now.

You would never know that on a “regular” Sunday morning you would be doubly blessed, yes doubly. Just in case, what are the possibilities to find two families in the same place after 10 years and 12 years being away from the Catania area, in the same spot? God is truly good. The first Sunday of May, Giuseppe went to church as usual, his go-to church in the morning then another church to preach. Refill and then give.

After 12 years, Giuseppe was united with the Gross family in church, who had been serving our country in Japan. At the same time, the preacher that Sunday was a single sailor that Giuseppe had the opportunity to mentor and minister, now married with a family and living in Sicily with the desire to serve as a Navy Chaplain in the near future. God is Great. The Gross family was hosted at Giuseppe’s apartment, all five of them. Stay with us and read along.

As most of you know, we are sponsoring children for a Bible summer camp. Last year, four kids went to the camp, all believers. This year, through your generous giving, we are sending six kids to camp, all non-believers, so that they might hear and receive His Word. Thank you.

With our co-laborer Giuseppe, we went and visited the Ispica Camp. The objective of the visit was to bring a team from the Navy base nearby to prepare the camp before it starts this year. There will be six camps as you can see from the pamphlet. The six children will stay in one of these. At the same time, Giuseppe C. had the privilege to preach on Sunday at a house church. It was a blessed trip there and a blessing for all to praise God for His blessings upon this church. The best is yet to come.

In the next few days, we will send a second letter for you to praise God for what He is accomplishing through your faithfulness. Someone once said of Giuseppe: You are like the Energizer Bunny, never stopping. Why stop? God is with us for a reason and one reason only — to save one from hell. What a privilege to do this Together, all the glory to Him and Him Alone.

As always: Let’s go fishing (really) for one more for the One.
