June 2026 Newsletter
Greetings to all prayer partners and supporters of Act Now Ministries. We hope you had a blessed Fourth of July celebrating America’s 250th birthday. Lots of food and fireworks to be had. We are thankful that America was founded on Christian principles, and this reflects on the fact that many missionaries have left to preach His Gospel even in the most remote parts of the world. It is thanks to missionaries that Giuseppe was able to hear and respond to the message of the Cross. Thank you for praying for us all as we continue to share His Gospel all over. Your prayers are essential for the ministry to keep on growing and we are very thankful for you.
These months have been quite busy overseas. As you can see, the world has come to us, and thanks to your faithfulness, Italians, Pakistani, Iranians, Bangladeshi and many more are hearing His Word. All the photos make us aware of the need of more missionaries for the field that’s ready for the harvest. Pray the Lord of the harvest to send more laborers into His field. North Italy is mostly neglected, but we hope that more will come to serve.
Giuseppe was able to host a future missionary couple at his apartment in Sicily. Kevin and Kayla Kazka spent a few days with him talking and counseling about their desire to serve in Italy. Do pray for them. Also, Pastor Chris Hamilton was in Detroit leading a mission trip from Florida. All went well and we hope to report to you about his trip. Their desire is to serve in Sicily with us.
Do pray also for the kids that are in Ispica Sicily. This year we sent 10 kids to Bible camp. We are praying that they might have a personal encounter with our Lord. In one of the many meetings with churches, Giuseppe was asked if Act Now could provide the children with coloring book Bibles. Most churches are not financially stable, made up of just 10 to 20 people. Each book costs around $7 and we hope to buy a few hundred copies of them. Pray that the Lord will make this possible. If you’d like to support this effort, please visit our mission webpage and designate your gift for these books.
Mt. Etna continues to erupt, creating difficult flying conditions for the Catania airport. Giuseppe calls it “tourist lava”. There’s lots of ashes falling all over, but no damage to report so far.
As always: Let’s go fishing (really) for one more for The One.
God bless you.
Giuseppe and Pennie Collesano, serving together.
Ciao for now.
