Greetings from still-cold Michigan. The snow here comes and goes. We even had some days looking like spring. February went by in a blur. Another month and Giuseppe will return to Sicily/Italy and continue in the ministry of ANM. In a few months, it will be officially 20 years in the ministry. God has done great things and still will do amazing things in the year ahead.
Pennie continues to improve after the cataract surgery on both eyes. One went well but the other requires more time and healing. Pray for that.
The ministry to reach one more for Christ continues in this country and in other countries where the Lord has allowed us to have partners. We are thankful to be able to help in Africa. We shared about the possibility of helping in Kenya real soon. In Nigeria and Kenya, we have provided much-needed bibles and literature to reach the unreached. Kenya is developing quickly: November 2023, one believer; November 2024, 70 believers! Now 150 of them are meeting under a rented tent or canopy. We are praying about how we can be a tangible help for these new believers.
I hope to share some videos from James, the first believer there, soon. Their prayer is for more plastic chairs and other necessary tools to facilitate their meetings. Pray with us. Their desire is to one day soon have a place with facilities similar to what we have in the States. Giuseppe is in talks with Daniele in North Italy about a trip to gain more details about the church in Malindi. It all started in North Italy with our help by sending bibles to them. By the way, they need more bibles.
Pray the Lord of the harvest. God is good. He needs more laborers that are willing to go, now. Giuseppe just finished a translation on Spiritual Warfare, hoping to teach and preach in Italy. Actually, he was invited to go to four churches to minister in the region of Venice in the north. Pray for that.
Our God is responding to our prayers about providing a new place of worship for the church in Pieve di Soligo. Thank you for praying for that. Some believers here in Michigan would like to visit and share His gospel in Italy with Giuseppe in the coming months. One of them today is leaving to visit India on a mission trip. Pray for John and Sal. Also pray for Doctor Vallen Prest on his trip to the Philippines in a week from now for two weeks of teaching on worship, pastoral counseling and preaching. He is one of our directors in ANM. For many years, he has lent his help working alongside Giuseppe in Sicily and Sardinia.
We have an Amazing God. Your gifts and talents are what makes it all possible. To lean on God is to have His direction in our life to accomplish much for His glory. Do pray for us at ANM, as we pray for one another for His bountiful blessings to bless others. Thank you for your part that allows us to do our part. God bless you richly.
