March 2026 Newsletter
Greetings to you all. We hope you had a blessed Easter with your families and friends. Giuseppe arrived in Sicily few days before and was welcomed by the volcano Mt. Etna completely covered with snow. It’s still erupting without any danger to populations around it. This time in the States took a bit longer because of doctors’ visits and spending time with family. All is well. We are very thankful for your prayers and support and we welcome the new supporters as well. God is good.
Romans 5:8-11 the demonstration of His love to us with the culmination of Easter. The apex of our salvation fulfilled at Calvary. From foreigners to family, from strangers to saved people, from estranged to included. All done at the cross; let’s live by this. God is good. And you are good too. What do I mean by that?
Three years ago, Giuseppe and Pennie started sponsoring children who could not afford a summer camp where the Word is taught and kids get saved. God is truly amazing. We started with four the first year, and the second year, Richard (Riccardo) accepted Christ as his Savior.
On January 15, a landslide hit Niscemi and more than 2,000 people were displaced. Now some have returned to their homes. One of the evangelical Cristian churches got destroyed along with a few believers’ houses. From the photos, you can see the magnitude of the damage. In some places, the drop is almost 150 feet. From the edge of the drop to 200 feet into the town, all the houses are condemned.
This year, we hope to sponsor 10 children. Giuseppe did go before Easter to visit and share about your heart and your donations. We hope we can alleviate the burden of many parents. Thank you. The task ahead is still daunting. God is our provider. In Niscemi, we are providing literature for a brother who is starting a Romanian church. What a coincidence – we have all the literature for this brother to do that.
God is good, and this Saturday on the 11th, someone will receive the literature because you cared to support us at Act Now Ministries. Praise the Lord with us. More is to come in the days ahead, with more blessings. Our co-workers in the north, Bologna, are doing well and are back to sharing His Word.
Annamaria had a good response about her Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and is progressing well. Thanks for praying. Do pray for the trip to Napoli coming up soon. Do pray also for another project here in Sicily too, if God allows it. More good news to come. God is good. Thank you for your love and support. Together we can do it. God bless you.
