Hello guys,
mt etna missionaryFinally here is the report,we apologize for the wait.It seems that again bronchitis has returned and has made life a bit difficult. As you might know Mt.Etna this year has been very active and has caused a lot of distress all around us.The ashes have fallen in a couple of towns and even reaching the mainland,so far we have counted up to 20 eruptions, but we are safe on the west side of it.Because of Etna we go from 80″degrees temps to 50″ in a matter of hours, fun.Aside from this we want to share what has been happening here since the last report. The markets are going well and you can see the activities from a photo here.

photo 3Again was invited to preach in Ramacca at Pastor Antonio Guadagno church (picture two) and Mario came to hear the message, the bold guy in the photo. The market in Catania is in full swing with a lot of interest from the passerby, this lady stopped and read the literature before continuing her shopping (picture three),the local church is very encouraged by our presence there.Giuseppe G comes faithfully with me when he is free to the market to share his testimony,he is a great help being from the same neighborood. In the last report i mentioned that finally we have started a men’s study group in Catania(picture four),the group averages from four to seven. Me and Pastor Murabito hope to disciple these men and mold them to be proactive in their faith.Do remember to pray for them ,most of them have experienced life in prison, but we know Who can break the chains and set us free. Still once and a while i do visit the American men’s group too, they are still meeting even when the group leader left for the States two weeks ago because of his work and family. The market in Belpasso continues to grow (picture five),Antonio e Santo are the ones that i see often and share the Word with them in a more personal way.

photo 4As all you know my parents are in a retirement home since they cannot
take care of themselves. This has been quite an adjustment to their lives, they are doing much better though. We went to visit them and at the same time we visited some other friends in town, little did we knew we will be breturning a few days
later again, for a funeral. We visited on the 17 of April we where back there on Saturday for the funeral on Sunday.Pino a friend and brother of 35 years went to be with the Lord.

Because the local christian church being small the funeral was held in a Catholic church. The service was done by the local pastor and i was asked to share in the service.PTL,the youth group sang, and we where able to share the Gospel of salvation to around 600 people in attendance (pictures 6).The church was filled and overflowed into the square for more than an hour with occasional rain.We are thankful to the Lord for Pino life and testimony that touched so
many.Pray that the seed will bring fruit in do time for His glory.

My dad turned 89 yeras old this month and we where able to celebrate
with him(picture 7). We ask that you continue to pray for us as we continue the work here:
For health, that i will rest and take care of my body. For our financial support that will grow to where is suppost to be.
For the opportunity to serve our service members here twice a week at the Navy base after 6pm,details coming.
The requests of preaching around the Island. That Etna will quiet down and we can breathe clean air.
Pray also for our families. Thank you for standing with us,going with us,giving to us for His work here.
God bless you.
Giuseppe and Pennie.
By the way :Let’s go fishing (Really) for souls.
