November 2025 Newsletter
God is good. It might be an old statement but it’s still accurate today on how He blesses us in serving wherever we are. Greetings to you all from Michigan, where we want to wish you all a blessed Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
This is one of a couple newsletters that we will send to you because there is not enough space to let you see what the Lord is doing through ANM in Italy and beyond. Last May, Giuseppe went north again to minister to the churches and believers there. This time the number of churches doubled and God opened more doors to share His Word throughout this trip north in November. We are thankful to God for great health and stamina for Giuseppe. Usually the trip is made by an overnight ferry ride from midnight to 4 p.m. in the afternoon the next day. The return might change depending on the program set before. After arriving north, we got some rest and then made another trip to bless our brother Daniele and his wife Annamaria.
We were able to replenish the cupboards in his garage with literature that is going to be distributed outside Bologna. Also the Lord blessed us with them accepting the responsibility to represent ANM in the north. Their bio and picture will be coming soon. Please keep praying for the Hamiltons, now in Florida ministering in St. Pete. Next year, the entire family might visit Sicily to think about serving there. So Ozzano was Giuseppe’s first stop. The second stop and a week of preaching began in a Montebelluna church to give brother Domenico material to reach out to the prisons and the refugees. It was good to be a guest at Pastor Giorgio’s house, especially during his wife Tiziana’s 50th birthday. Great company and great food to be had.
Last May, Giuseppe went to Asiago; yes, the cheese place near Bassano del Grappa. He visited the town and bought a slice of cheese there, but best of all, there was a desire to open a place of worship there. This time the place, although small, soon became filled for his visit and an opportunity to share His Word.
Asiago sits at around 3,500 feet. After the service and a slice of pizza leaving the congregation outside, he saw his breath in the air. It was below 32 degrees at 10:30 at night. Yes, sometimes meetings last a bit longer in Italy compared to the USA. Another blessing was to be a guest at the Bassano church, spending time with Pastor Beppe (Giuseppe) and sharing a meal at his house.
Before leaving Sicily, Giuseppe sent a few packages to two pastors to help them reach out to their communities. In the next letter, there will be more good news for you to thank God for His goodness to all of us.
Your prayers and your giving are very much appreciated in order to continue presenting the Gospel in a country full of idolatry. We would like to share some numbers with you. Currently in Italy, there are more than half a million refugees; at the same time, less than 1% have declared that they are believers within a population of about 56/57 million. In the north, there is a dire need for laborers or missionaries called by the Lord to serve Him.
The field needs to be tilled, sowed, watered, and harvested. We all need to ask ourselves which part we will play on it. We are glad that we do have great partners that enable us to serve together for the Kingdom. Thank you for reading and praying for all of us at Act Now Ministries. More news to come because God is good.
God bless you.
As always: Let’s go fishing (really) for one more for the One.
Yours in Christ; Giuseppe and Pennie Collesano.
Ciao for now.
