Dear partners and friends: thank you for your continued love for the Lord and His work through Act Now Ministries.

We hope your summer went well with all your activities and vacations. It is for us, as there is always work to be done! Time sure flies by quickly.

By the time you read this, Giuseppe and Pennie will have added a new son-in-law to their family. Cristina will be getting married on October 7 to John Wayne Mullins, now a Reserve in the Coast Guard. He comes from Ohio so there will be a bit of rivalry when U of M plays the Buckeyes. It is only a game…Go Blue!

There has been a lot going on in preparing for the wedding, with carpenters working on the place on Lake Huron. Pennie inherited a cottage from her family but there was work to be done. Giuseppe has been busy helping the two workers do their jobs, such as resetting windows, and replacing the siding and painting.

The wedding will take place on Bois Blanc Island in the Coast Guard Chapel where Giuseppe preaches when he is on the island. It’s a beautiful place when you are surrounded by lots of trees and hear the birds singing during the service. Giuseppe will return to Sicily after the wedding to a different location, continuing the ministry there.

Also, we are starting brand new work in Sardinia (Sardegna), the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. In Sardinia, there is a population of about 1.5 million people. We have been asked to return and strengthen the churches there and help them to evangelize their surrounding area. We need your prayers more than ever and also pray that the Lord will send more laborers in His field.

It has been good to be home for this period of time, doing all the work needed and reconnecting with family and friends alike. We love you and appreciate all of you for your support and prayers that enable us to reach One more for the One.

God bless you. Ciao for now.

Let’s go fishing (really) for One more.

Your servants in the Lord,

Giuseppe and Pennie Collesano
