Greetings to all of your faithful prayers and support of the Ministry of Act Now Ministries.
The countdown has begun to return to Sicily/Italy after the pandemic. We all are doing well and eagerly await Giuseppe to return overseas to restart full swing the mission: To go fish (really) for one more for the One.

Giuseppe leaves for Sicily on September 20 and arrives on September 21. Do pray. As soon he arrives in Sicily and the jet lag is over, on the 25th he will officiate baptisms on the west coast of Sicily. Girolamo from Mazara del Vallo will be baptized after making a profession of faith via WhatsApp. Both he and Giuseppe have been studying the Word for more than a year. On July 17, he accepted the Lord. God is good.

Mark will take a 24-hour train ride from northeast Italy to be baptized as well. He accepted the Lord in 2018 when Giuseppe shared the Gospel with him. And he has also been on a bible study with Giuseppe since then. God is good. Later in October, there will be more baptisms once Giuseppe can travel north to perform them. Pray for Mattia, as he eagerly awaits that day. God is so good.

In other news, Giuseppe was asked to officially become a trustee at the Coast Guard Chapel on Bois Blanc Island where he preaches during the time that the church is open (from June to September). The Coast Guard Chapel is a partner in the ministry.

From Sicily, the ministry continues with Isidoro Cavallaro and Giuseppe La China ministering in many ways, especially with the refugee situation. So far, we have been helping in four camps as you can see from the photos. Also, we have seen an increase in the local population coming alongside ANM in donating clothes, household items, shoes, and food to help the ministry.

A business in Michigan, Culver’s Restaurant, donated 50 soccer balls to reach the young people in the camps and also for when we outreach the local population.

Giuseppe’s dentist got into the action also, donating a movie screen and a few boxes of toothpaste and toothbrushes. God is really good. Every little donation allows us to reach far beyond what we might think. Your prayers are very appreciated at this moment because prayer changes things and situations.

Giuseppe was asked once he returns about a possible trip to Ukraine to help local struggling churches there. Would you pray more??

Dear friends and coworkers: we thank you for the privilege to serve with you our Lord and Savior.

As always: Let’s go fishing (really) for one more for the One.
May God bless you richly and the encouraging Word of our Lord resides in you nightly.
Your servants, Giuseppe and Pennie Collesano
Ciao for now.
