September 2025 Newsletter
Greetings to you all, our friends and supporters of Act Now Ministries. It seems that summer is over as the children go back to school. It has been a whirlwind of travel with being up north in Bois Blanc Island and now in Virginia before Giuseppe heads over to Sicily and Italy.
The time on the island was the busiest so far in preaching and taking care of additional duties at the Coast Guard Chapel. We are glad that we are able to help in making it possible for others to hear His Word up there. Giuseppe had the pulpit three times and then we had a guest pastor visiting from one of our supporting churches in bringing a message from the book of Haggai. Lots to learn from it, and pastor Jason Lively enriched all of us that Sunday. It was good to have his family take a few days off with us; they were a blessing.
In the meantime, we received news that from the six children we sent to camp this summer, one of them made a decision to receive Christ as a Savior. Riccardo (Richard), a 17-year-old from a Muslim family, declared his faith in God. God is good. On another note, Ben Collesano, the youngest of the Collesano kids, went on his second mission trip in Arizona. He was on the Navajo nation to build a house with a group from his church. God is good. The work was done and someone now has a place to stay. The oldest, Joshua, keeps busy with Seek Well ministry in helping couples and singles to find the right priorities and purpose in God’s will. He also went west to enjoy a time of rest and solitude with God.
The middle child, Cristina, still serves our country in the Navy and is waiting to spend more time with the kids this fall as she changes to be in the reserve for the last two years of her career. God has truly blessed the Collesano family in serving in different capacities. We hope and pray that your summer was a blessing for you and meaningful for your testimony to your faith.
Do pray for the next few months overseas with lots to do and visits all over. We are grateful that we received more evangelistic material to reach the unreached ones in Italy and beyond. Another invite just arrived to go and visit in Naples (Napoli), where two years ago we helped with an outreach to the Muslim population and the locals too. In a politically-correct world, what is happening in Europe must become a wake-up call for all. The continent is starting to change radically towards a majority of Muslim population. It is imperative to reach the ones that are still open to the Gospel to receive it. Do pray for this.
Also, do pray for Chris Hamilton who is making a visit to Giuseppe to see and be exposed to the need in Sicily and Italy. The Hamiltons have considered with all of us their desire to serve in Sicily. God is good in providing more help, and we pray that it will happen. Thank you for your prayer support and physical support for the ministry. Even with a small team, God will do great things.
God bless you.
Serving together, Giuseppe and Pennie Collesano
As always: Let’s go fishing (really) for one more for the One.
Ciao for now.
